A mural painting festival conducted at China National Children's Center in Beijing,  China.

Theme:  Global Environment - Peace and Friendship

International students studying in China and Chinese students from several major cities  will jointly design and paint murals at the Children's Center during the two day festival.

On May 18th from 2:30-4:30 pm,  there will be a special ceremony honoring Mme Gu Xiulian (President of All China Women's Federation) and Mrs. Sarah Randt (wife of the current U.S. Ambassador to China Clark T. Randt), who have been long time supporters of the 1990 Institute Children, Art and Environment programs.
