Grace Yu earned her BS in Electrical Engineering from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, MBA in Finance from the Wharton School and MA in International Studies from University of Pennsylvania. Prior to attending Wharton, Grace worked for IBM designing VSLI chips and control systems for IBM’s East Fishkill facility. After graduating from Wharton, she worked for Goldman Sachs in New York and then joined Sun Microsystems, Inc after moving to the Bay Area of California. She is currently involved in a startup company based in Los Angeles, California.
Grace has been on the Board of the 1990 Institute since 2014 and has served as the Vice Chair & Corporate Secretary of the Institute previously. She is also a member of several committees and managed the migration of the Institute’s contact database from Excel to Saleforce.
